Hello, friends!
As many of you may be aware, I am now an appointed missionary by Greater Europe Missions! Many of you are familiar with my previous missionary in Belgium back in 2013.
Things will be a little different this time around. After much prayer, I have accepted the call to be a career in missions. This time I will be based out of Kandern, Germany. I will be working with the organization’s film and digital media team, GemStone Media. It is an exciting opportunity. I will be using my skill, education, and gifting in film production, digital media, technology, and storytelling to help create content that will spread the Gospel in Europe and make others aware of the need for the hope of Jesus Christ throughout Europe and beyond.
The need for Christ throughout Europe is a burden that has been placed on my heart. My heart is for Europe. It is a long, tough road ahead of me. The Road to Germany has only begun. At this moment, I am in the early stages of fundraising, working with a fundraising coach from Tailored Fundraising Solutions to help make me more effective in finding potential ministry partners. Fundraising is about more than just raising money. It’s about raising ministry partners. Those who willing to partner with me are as much a part of creating an impact for Christ through Europe as I am.
My dear friends, please keep in your prayers. Moving from the US to Germany is no small feat. The call to international missions is a hard one. There are a lot of challenges to face before I even leave for Germany. The thing to keep in mind is that my ministry doesn’t start when I get to Europe. IT STARTS NOW! I am thankful for all of you who are reading this. I want you to know that you are in my prayers.
I am thankful for all of you who are reading this. I want you to know that you are in my prayers. I will try to keep this blog up to date. Keep an eye out for posts labeled “Road to Germany”. I will hopefully have some video updates in the coming months.
Blessings,
Stephan Hughes
